The HBCOA is a Non-profit 501(c) 3 Corporation, exists solely to provide programs and services that are of public benefit (Tax ID#51-0179431). Often these programs and services are not otherwise provided by local, state, or federal entities. While we are able to earn a profit, our earnings must be retained by the organization for its future provision of programs and services.

Shop at Ralphs and Raise Funds for the HBCOA

It's easy and free! Every time you shop and swipe your registered Ralphs Reward cards, HBCOA will receive a donation.

Go to www.Ralphs.com > Click on Sign In > My Ralphs > Community Contribution > Participant - Enroll and follow prompts to have Huntington Beach Council on Aging (organization #91703) your designated Community Contribution Organization.

If a new online customer click on Create a New Account and follow prompts to create an account. Then follow the previous steps under Sign In.

* REMEMBER, purchase will not count for towards HBCOA until after you register your card(s).

** If you do not have a Ralphs Reward Card, go to the Service Desk at Ralphs and apply for a free card.

Another way to donate is to signed up with the Cars4Causes. This is where you can donate cars, boats, planes, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and choose the charity you wish money to go to. This is atax deductible donation to the HBCOA and benefits local seniors.

At no cost to you, Cars4Causes will pickup the car that you are no longer using and prepare it for sale including minor repairs, smog check and paperwork. Cars4Causes will then advertise and sell the vehicle at the highest possible price. After the sale, the HBCOA will receive a monetary donation, and you will receive the written acknowledgement required for a vehicle contribution deduction on your taxes. Simply click on the Cars4Causes icon or hyperlink and complete the simple donation form or call 1-800-766-2273 to speak with a donation representative.
