You’ll be amazed with the Los Angeles treasures from yesteryear that will be showcased today. Our favorite professional L.A. guide, Jonathan, will provide a fascinating perspective of some of L.A.’s best-known and nostalgic landmarks, focusing on their art, architecture and history. Highlights include visits inside the Biltmore Hotel, Union Station, Grand Central Market, the Bradbury Building (pending filming), the Garment District, California Plaza, and Olvera Street. Also an included ride on the recently re-opened Angels Flight, known as the shortest railway in the world. Originally built in 1901 to transport people to the top of Bunker Hill, the Angels Flight funicular railway has recently been refurbished with new cars and new technology. In honor of Ronald Reagan’s 100th Birthday in 2011, the Library underwent an extensive remodel and now features 26,000 square feet of new interactive exhibits and never-before-seen presidential artifacts.
