The Michael E. Rodgers Seniors' Center is a focal point for an array of programs and services important to the quality of life for the seniors in our community. The center is a multi-purpose facility and offers opportunities for involvement and companionship with a wide range of social, recreational and educational programs promoting wellness.

Services

The Michael E. Rodgers Seniors’ Center offers many services that address common issues that confront seniors in the community. These services provide much needed assistance on subjects ranging from healthcare to taxes.

Classes

Classes include a broad curriculum where adults and seniors can sharpen skills, get a workout, and exercise the mind. Courses are offered through City of Huntington Beach-Community Services (SANDS), Huntington Beach Adult School, Coastline Community College, and volunteer instructors.

 Activities and Clubs

The senior center is home to a variety of activities and clubs that cater to interests of all types. These social groups and events focus on recreation, crafts, and hobbies.

 Information and Referral

Senior Services provides referrals to seniors & their families for services in Huntington Beach and the county.  Information about a wide range of senior concerns such as housing, in home care, caregiver assistance is available. Call 714-960-2478.

Feedback Foundation Lunch Program

TLC/Feedback serves a wide variety of delicious, nutritious lunches each weekday at 11:30 a.m. A donation of $2.50 per meal is suggested. For more information , call (714) 536-8404.

Volunteer Services

Volunteers are essential to the success of our programs. In 2005, volunteers provided over 39,000 hours of service through driving, meal delivery, office assistance, teaching, cleaning, or just listening.
